About the instructor: Carol Squicci spent 45 years as an educator at elementary through college levels. She Taught HS fine arts and graphics; also taught computer graphics at Laney College, all in Oakland. She conducted various art workshops for both teachers and students. Squicci studied art with Mel Ramos at CSUEB; painted with Anthony Holdsworth in Tuscany and is currently mentored by Marvin Dalander of Alameda. Her art has appeared on book covers, union materials and educational media.
She has shown at coffee shops in Oakland & Alameda, and exhibited at Frank Bette Center for the Arts.

​Day & Time: Tuesdays, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Description: Learn basic drawing skills, eliminate your frustration, produce good sketches, and build your confidence in this six-week class. You will be taught how to draw what you see and complete basic line drawings; also be introduced to shading, portraits and perspective. A final still-life project will complete the session.
