Intermediate Ukulele: 6 Sessions
Janet Lenore was teaching guitar classes before she finished high school, picking up mandolin and banjo along the way. She caught the "ukulele bug" about 10 years ago and loves sharing the joy of playing with others. Janet infuses her teaching with a relaxed sense of humor and she comes from a family of teachers. Janet knows how to break down the components of a song, strum and the things a musician is busy doing - all at once! She’s lead workshops at the Mendocino Ukulele Festival, the Napa Ukulele Festival, Burning Uke, Smoldering Uke and Ukes on the Loose. Check out Janet's website here!

Title: Intermediate Ukulele: 6 Sessions
Instructor: Janet Lenore Dates: TBD Day & Time: Wednesdays 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm Description: Are you ready for your next ukulele challenge? We’re still working on getting to the darned Bb chord but that doesn’t stop us from breaking our strum pattern to do a short single note connecting measure. It might be a reggae strum, a Beatles song, or something that's on the contemporary radio stations right now. We’ll update our repertoire while honing skills. If you are in a rut with “down up down up” on your right hand and the same old pop songs - this class is for you! Please do bring the following to class: your ukulele, a pen or pencil, and a music stand. Fees: $125 Members; $135 Non-members Note: Minimum registration required for class to proceed. |
