Volunteer Your Time
Looking for a volunteer opportunity? How about The Bette?
As a non-profit organization, The Bette depends on the support & generosity of the community. Volunteering may not be glamorous, but it certainly is important. Without volunteers, the exhibits, events, & weekly gallery hours wouldn't happen.

Volunteer Opportunities
Frank Bette Center for the Arts relies on volunteers to support our programs and services. Whether assisting with events, exhibitions, or minding the gallery, volunteers help FBCA support local artists and continue to be an important part of the community.

Volunteering need not be difficult or time-consuming, but it is vital to our existence. Our most important volunteer position is the "Gallery Minder." Much like a gallery attendant, the Gallery Minder sits at the gallery's front desk, welcomes visitors, and answers basic questions. Gallery Minder shifts are available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and typically last three hours, either 11 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 5 pm. Exhibit and event shifts will vary. Orientation and training will be provided.
For more information about volunteering at The Bette, visit the Frank Bette Center for the Arts, give us a call, or send an email to Pierette Moore, Volunteer Coordinator.
