Part of the way words have lived with us is through the passing on of story and wisdom. In some ways, we initiate each other into our respective lives through story, and we initiate ourselves into the greater life which we give ourselves over to.

Storytelling is temporarily being held offsite. Please refer to more information below for update.
Day & Time: 3rd Thursday of each month
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Description: If you love to hear stories, this is a great spot to hear them. Stories are powerful tools for healing, finding meaning, joy, sorrow, and everything else in life. And, everyone has a story. In the welcoming atmosphere of the Frank Bette Center, share a story, a traditional tale, a fictional piece, or a story from your life.
The Center also offers the experience of enjoying Alameda and Bay Area storytellers live and doing what they do best.
This is a free event although we pass the hat for your donation.
