About the instructor: Art has always been a part of Colleen’s life paralleling her development as a person, through education, becoming an adult, raising children and her professional career. She has successfully merged them all somehow and has been addicted to education her entire life. She is honored to hold an MFA in painting from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Now with a business degree, a graphic design degree and an MFA, Colleen has all the knowledge and motivation she needed to pursue her fine art practice and teach and inspire students from around the globe.

Title: Mish Mash 2.0: 10 Sessions Online

Time: Tuesdays, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm PT
Description: Students will be creating artwork based upon the work of the featured artist. Each week we will be using different materials and learning new techniques of these artists: Rex Ray: Advanced collage (2 weeks), Squeak Carnwath: Story Telling (2 weeks), Yayoi Kusama: Appropriating an object, Frida Kahlo: Self Portraits, Miranda Forrester: Painting on Glass, Leslie Martinez: Painting with Fabric (2 weeks), Nat Reed: Interiors
Fee: $300 Members; $330 Non-members
