![]() About the instructor: Wendy Soneson has been teaching watercolor at seven locations in the Bay Area for five years, and before that, for 30 years in Boston. She has been the John Singer Sargent guest artist at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, for the last seven years. Her approach is fine arts, as in a university setting, which in the end, she believes, adds much more to one’s life than just a hobby. . Instructor: Wendy Soneson Dates: April 18 Day & Time: Sunday, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Currently offered online! Description: In this workshop we will work from flower images and learn to see more deeply, as a fine artist, into shapes, edges, colors, values and transitions of all these. With patience we can mirror the incredible beauty of nature, and enter the right brain world of artist Flow, where the world disappears and we get lost in the captivating, mysterious world of nature and vision. The class will consist of pre class video, and then during class time, on zoom, a conversation with the group, then a demonstration. After final questions, I will follow up with students individually after they complete assignments. Please watch these pre class mini lessons and I will be sending a video for you to watch before class. Fee: $40 Members; $50 Non-members Materials: You may order art supplies from WatercolorWeekly (please no substitutes) or a $65 supply kit directly from Wendy at Wendy.
