About the instructor: Grace Mendez believes everyone is born with creative ability. Unfortunately, many have lost their creative confidence along the way. Grace gently builds up creativity muscles by using a playful and relaxed approach in her skill-building workshops.
Nature is the primary muse in Grace’s life, whether while leading groups on a nature therapy walk or in a creative project. She is the illustrator of Foliage Houseplants: Coloring Book and Crossword Puzzles. Instructor: Grace Mendez Dates: April 15 Day & Time: Saturday, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm Description: Discover how to turn an old book into a one-of-a-kind creation. Using collage, markers, and paint, your book will become a personal mixed-media art piece. Everything you need (even a book) will be provided, but if you want to bring any small collage elements, acrylic paint, brushes, pens, etc., they are welcome too. Fee: $75 Members; $85 Non-members Materials: All materials provided Medium: Mixed media Notes: Minimum registration required for workshop to proceed. Open to all artistic levels; 16 years and older.
