Opening reception: Friday 14th 7:00pm – 9:000pm
Art is an important component of the Adult Education Program at Clausen House, an Oakland-based non-profit that provides a wide variety of services to developmentally-disabled adults.
The most recent annual Art Show, held last September, provided a key opportunity to demonstrate their client’s talents and abilities. The show’s goal was to challenge participants intellectually and to stimulate their creativity by encouraging them to express themselves artistically. The show also provides an opportunity for the artisits to sell their work.
Clausen House’s Adult Education is located at 650 Grand Avenue in Oakland, near the Grand Lake Theater. For more information, see www.clausenhouse.org.
