About the instructor: Art has always been a part of Colleen’s life paralleling her development as a person, through education, becoming an adult, raising children and her professional career. She has successfully merged them all somehow and has been addicted to education her entire life. She is honored to hold an MFA in painting from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Now with a business degree, a graphic design degree and an MFA, Colleen has all the knowledge and motivation she needed to pursue her fine art practice and teach and inspire students from around the globe.

Description: Want to get in touch with your abstract side but not sure how? This class will introduce a multitude of different exercises to get you thinking about form and space, shape, emotion and composition. Allow yourself to let go of control and surrender to the painting.
