Bay Area Rug Hookers

Bay Area Rug Hookers are friendly, sharing and enthusiastic practitioners of this 300 year old craft meeting at FBCA the third Sunday of each month 2:30-5:30.  Members include professional as well as amateur textile artists. Drop by and see what we're doing. Try your hand at painting with wool--you might get hooked!

Traditional rug hooking is an American art form that involves pulling strips of wool through a backing fabric--usually linen, cotton or burlap to form loops on the topside. The color and value of the wool strips create the design.

For more information contact Linda McHugh, 521.4470.
