Vision Revision 5+5+5
 Read 3 of the poems

We're especially excited about this exhibit to further integrate the visual and literary arts
 at the Frank Bette Center for the Arts.

Five visual artists and five poets have been invited to participate in the Vision Revision 5+5+5 Exhibit

The artist and poets will exhibit an original poem or visual artwork
 along with the documentation of five stages of its development to the final piece

Vision Revision 5+5+5 exhibit will be hung in the signature gallery.
It is a different and separate exhibit than the February Vision Revision thematic exhibit in the front gallery

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
 JEWEL BY THE BAY POETRY CONTEST 
 Jewel by the Bay Poetry Contest is held in conjunction with the Frank Bette Center's 3rd Annual Plein Air Paintout, July  14 - 20, 2008. 
   
Poems do not have to be about Alameda but Alameda must be a significant element in the poem. Poems should not exceed 40 lines.  
Winning poem will be announced  at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday July 19 at 3pm followed by a reading and open mic.

Winner will receive $100 and their poem will be on display in the August art show at the Frank Bette Center. 
Contest judge TBA 
Submit 2 copies of each poem. One copy unsigned, the other should include your name, address, phone number and email address.  Submit no more than three poems.  Enclose a self addressed stamped envelope for notification of contest results.
