Class Description: Class Description: In this class you will develop skills and techniques in seeing and understanding three dimensional form by modeling in clay from the life figure and human head. Students will focus on using basic tools, observational skills and composition, studying structure, proportions, and anatomy.

This class is eight-week per section in on-going basis. Beginners and advanced students are welcome; Instructor takes turn to instruct students individually. Students from various levels will also have a chance to learn from other students through out developing individual projects. Model fees will be shared by class participants. Class size is limited to 8 students.

About the Instructor: Feng Jin was born in China in 1966. Graduate from China's number one art institution, Central Academy of Fine Art, Beijing, Feng has been a college professor in Beijing teaching art history, figurative drawing and traditional figurative and portrait sculpting for many years. He came to the U.S. in 1995 and currently resides in Alameda as a full-time metal sculptor. visit website
