Creating an Art Doll -- Expressive Ember 2- Day Workshop with Daisy Kiehn
$100 members; $120 non-members Notes: Level: Beginning artist-- but need to be able to use sewing machine at a High Beginner level. Open to 18+ years of age. Several sewing machines available for use on first come, first serve basis. Will break for lunch (1/2 hour.) |

About the workshop: Use your basic sewing skills to discover the magic of Art Dolls. Take the ember of your creativity and watch as it comes alive from your hands and becomes a 'being'. Learn the skills that make this thrilling (and addictive!) experience possible. Some simple pre-sewing "homework" will give you time to finish your creation in two days.
About the instructor: Daisy Kiehn spent 20 years as professional Art Educator. Originally trained as a painter, she learned sculpture techniques, fashion design, and textile arts to help her students.
