Make a Little Quilt Workshop



Class Description:
Learn the basics of quilt making in a day and go home with a small quilt top and the skills you need to finish it on your own.  Perfect for the total beginner or the seamstress who wants to know the quilt makers tricks, such as how to make those corners match every time.  Small class size allows for individual instruction.  Two sewing machines will be available for class use, register early to reserve a machine, or bring your own. choose doll, pet, baby, or lap size. 

About the Instructor: Susan graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Practice of Art.  She worked in textiles for most of her artistic career, receiving national recognition for her art quilts.  In 2002, she returned to her first love.. life drawing and painting.  She is a founding member of Frank Bette Center for the Arts and has been a best-seller in the gallery there.  She has maintained a studio at the center for several years, although her primary residence is now in the high Sierras.
