Expressive Art 4-Week Workshop
About the instructor: Adele Aced is an artist, an art therapist, and a teacher. A former adjunct faculty member at the Graduate Art Therapy program at the Notre Dame de Namur University, Adele is a supervising clinician at Catholic Charities in San Mateo. She has presented numerous expressive art workshops as part of her south bay practice and her artwork has been shown in several peninsula galleries, too. Adele and her husband recently retired to Alameda to be close to their young grandchildren. They look forward to enjoying and contributing to their new community.

Description: Making art not only allows us to represent the world but it also allows us to represent ourselves. Join us for a playful journey of self-discovery and personal expression. We use simple collage techniques to free our creative spirit, affirm our individual stories and just plain have fun. All experience levels are welcome.
Fees: $ 50 Members; $60.00 Non-members
Materials list: Scissors; X-Acto knife; Glue sticks; Straight edge; Cutting board (Plastic or a simple piece of cardboard); Old magazines to share.
