Bio: Spirits in the Basement
Spirits In The Basement is a local Hip Hop group from The East Bay Area. Zack Bateman (Founder of the project) had worked with each member individually before deciding to bring the artists together as a whole. The group formed and began playing shows around the Bay Area in late 2009. Now, after 6 months of live shows and hard work from each member, the group is planning to release their first album as a collective.

Artists in the group such as Nam Vo, Zack Bateman, and BeMe (Founder of Invader Records) all lend their talents for not only rhymes on the tracks, but beats as well. Juda J (Head of Cheap Thrill Skateboards) provides laid back verses and catchy hooks, while hip-hop lyricists Push, Dac and Am Star add an extra flavor to the mix with tongue twisting flows that force one to delve deep into the thought process of everyday life.

Spirits In The Basement looks to collaborate with any kind of artist and do what they can to keep the souls of old alive through something new and refreshing to the ears. Not to be associated with the everyday hook one may hear on the radio, The Spirits will keep expanding the minds and drive of those around them. Spirits In The Basement

BEME is a 23 year old recording artist from the bay area. He has made a name for himself performing along side Trackademicks, The R.O.D. Project, Aceyalone, Ninjasonik, Boots Riley, Citizen Fish, and Japanther. BEME
