Mi'Chelle Fredrick

As a child, I roamed the rolling woodlands near my home in Wisconsin. I still can recall the shady valleys with giant oak trees, sunny meadows dotted with milkweeds and butterflies and all the places where wildflowers appeared in the Spring. I learned about ecosystems long before the word entered the popular vernacular. My appreciation for nature influences my work; landscapes and animals are among my favorite subjects. By sharing my view of the natural world, I hope to inspire in the viewer a greater respect for the fragile beauty of wild things and wild places. Pet portraits are my specialty and may be commissioned in watercolor or graphite. Read more about Mi'Chelle Fredrick.
