His educational background includes an MFA from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, BFA from the California College of the Arts, and many workshops with noted plein air painters. Description: Learn or improve your plein air (outdoor) painting skills among the many picturesque offerings of the island of Alameda, with its Victorians, boats, bridges, and scenic views. Scheduled just two weeks after the Frank Bette Plein Air Paintout, you can first watch the artists in action, then try it yourself with Mark Monsarrat’s easy 3-step, limited-palette approach, as he guides you on your way.
Fee: 2-Day - $190 Members; $230 Non-members

Notes: Minimum registration required for workshop to proceed. Open to all artistic levels; 18 years and older . Bring lunch.
